FAQ:
Q: Are any cards banned from TCS play?
A: No cards from the legal pool of sets are banned in TCS. Problematic cards receive point values, but are still playable in the format.
Q: If I have a suggestion or concern, where should I bring it up?
A: The best place you can bring it up is the Discord, linked in the header. The admin team will be happy to hear what you have to say, and takes community feedback heavily under consideration, including matters of set legality changes, changes to the points list, and even changes to the structure of the format itself.
Q: Why include the static sets that you did?
A: The sets were chosen for several reasons, including conversations with players about decks they would like to see function and cards they want to play in the format, and general consideration of what cards it would be handy to keep in the format to make certain strategies consistently viable and to keep others in check.
Q: The format has "Standard" in the name; is it intended to replace or compete with standard?
A: The goal of TCS is to provide another way for people to play, with a different metagame and different decks than other formats, not to compete with or replace any existing format. The name was chosen because the sets rotating into TCS are standard legal (premier) sets.
